Terrie's Story

Life I was married to my highschool sweetheart(wayne hoffman) another graduate for 15 yrs. We traveled to 2 countrys and several states with the Army we divorced in 1995. I have lived in San antonio ever since. I have 3 kids and 3 granddaughters. My son is Austic and going to china to represent Texas and the USA at the special olympic's at the 2007 summer olympic's Well we went to China it was very interesting and very fun. My son's team won a silver medal in basketball. My daughter Amber married while I was gone what a shock!!1 Well it's been a little over 2 years since I have updated. I now have 7 grandkids 4 girls & 3 boys. I'm suffering from empty nest sydrome. My son has moved into a special needs apt. and loves it when i take him somewhere as soon as we are done we wants to go home!!! going to the reunion if possible.It has gotten better I'm liking my alone time more and more.It was hard for the first 3 or 4 months . Since my last update I now have 6 grandkids 3 girls & 3 boys. My dad passed away he had lung cancer we found out he had cancer he lived 3 wee...Expand for more
ks didn't have time to sink in before he was gone. I broke my arm pretty bad. I have retired from HEB since I broke my arm and it is healing very slowly. I just returned from Greece where my son represented the USA and Texas at the 2011 World special Olympic summer games where he won a Gold medal in softball. I have since moved back in with mom so we can take care of each other. I just returned form Hawaii I took mom for 2 weeks had a great time. I traveled to NC to be with my daughter while she had tests on her unborn baby everything came out great the baby is a girl. Baby is here she is beautiful she was big weighed10 lbs. 11 oz.s I have been with here almost a month ready to go home Going to New Jersey in June my son is going to play basketball at 2014 Special Olympic's National Games we won silver in NewJersy my brother was hit by a car and is bed ridden lost the use of his body from the nipples down it has been a long 18 months well my brother passed away June 30,2019 it’s been a rough 6months my mom took his death hard now we are getting ready for Christmas
